Mason Barry is the creative director behind Barry Creative.

I am a Kansas City-based creative director and venture builder working across brand, product, motion, 3D, campaigns, and new ventures.

The practice

The team changes. The standard does not.

I lead each engagement, stay accountable for the direction, and build a specialist team around the actual needs of the project.

I also build and operate Bonk Supply and co-founded Bastion Collective. Those ventures keep the work grounded in product, sourcing, manufacturing, retail, launch, customers, budgets, and the decisions that continue after the presentation ends.

I work from the idea outward.

    Find the thing that must hold.

    Separate the central idea from everything that merely accumulated around it.

    Set rules that make decisions easier.

    Build enough structure for people, images, products, and motion to belong together.

  3. 03

    Carry it into reality.

    Direct the work until the idea survives contact with production and use.
